Happy New Year people! Have you been keeping all those super ambitious resolutions? Erm, I didn’t get to finish writing them!
So New Year calls for a New Look right? Well, I think it’s a good excuse to get back to have a quick look at what’s at store in this shop, there are always tons and tons of great maternity basics and some cool finds too. Here is my selection, hope you like them:
Well, my shoe world, that is. Pregnancy is not the best time to strut around in high heels, as it can cause back problems (and there is a risk of falling flat on your face, which is not as funny as when you are non-pregnant).
And we flat wearers, are now spoilt for choice. There hasn’t been some many different cute flats shoes in the shops ever. You have the preppy loafers, the trendy slippers, the super fashionable d’Orsay flats, the classic brogues, and I could go on and on.
Anyway, this is a small selection of pretty flats that I put together, what do you think of them?
Hi all, sorry for the lately lack of posts, I’ve just been so busy with my masters course project!
If you are looking for maternity and breastfeeding friendly fashion inspiration, you can check out my Pinterest account, where I am more active.
It’s freezing and raining (or even better, snowing) outside, but shops have started stocking pretty flowery things already. H&M, as always, has the best maternity basics a pregnant gal can wish for. I really recommend the nursing vest, they are perfect for layering on cold winter nights when your child feeds several times a night (like mine).
When searching for nursing-friendly tops and dresses, there is a keyword that is worth noting: henley. They are usually easy and comfortable garments, and if you want to keep your modesty when buttoning down for breastfeeding in public, you can add a pretty scarf. This reminds me I have to do a post on scarfs, I can’t have enough of them!
Hey mamas! After the typical “overtired mum” rant of yesterday, things are looking better today, at least concerning the health of our first-born. He’s back to his indefatigable self, which is a joy to see.
Mama fashion wise, today’s post is about capes, which are such a warm and comfy sartorial solution for big bumped mamas, or for anyone who likes capes. I own one, and I don’t wear it as often as I should, it always end up relegated to the deep end of the wardrobe, dunno why. Anyway, hope you find the below selection helpful and inspiring, which is all this blog is about!
I always find new and exciting things when I visit New Look Maternity, they seem to refresh their site and product collection constantly. From the very basics to the chic and glamorous, the selection is impressive.
Here are some of my faves, do you see anything you like?
As I said before, Urban Outfitters is probably not the first place a mama heads to thinking of getting some maternity or nursing friendly clothes, but you would be surprised of the things you can catch in this hipster heaven. They stock a myriad of young and edgy labels, and if you look really well, you can always find something to fit your personal needs and style.
