Well, my shoe world, that is. Pregnancy is not the best time to strut around in high heels, as it can cause back problems (and there is a risk of falling flat on your face, which is not as funny as when you are non-pregnant).
And we flat wearers, are now spoilt for choice. There hasn’t been some many different cute flats shoes in the shops ever. You have the preppy loafers, the trendy slippers, the super fashionable d’Orsay flats, the classic brogues, and I could go on and on.
Anyway, this is a small selection of pretty flats that I put together, what do you think of them?
So it snowed last night. Again. It supposed to be spring, after one of the wettest and coldest winters on record. Needless to say, I am sick of the freezing weather and I can’t wait for storing away my winter coats and boots.
It’s freezing and raining (or even better, snowing) outside, but shops have started stocking pretty flowery things already. H&M, as always, has the best maternity basics a pregnant gal can wish for. I really recommend the nursing vest, they are perfect for layering on cold winter nights when your child feeds several times a night (like mine).
Hey mamas! After the typical “overtired mum” rant of yesterday, things are looking better today, at least concerning the health of our first-born. He’s back to his indefatigable self, which is a joy to see.
Mama fashion wise, today’s post is about capes, which are such a warm and comfy sartorial solution for big bumped mamas, or for anyone who likes capes. I own one, and I don’t wear it as often as I should, it always end up relegated to the deep end of the wardrobe, dunno why. Anyway, hope you find the below selection helpful and inspiring, which is all this blog is about!
I always find new and exciting things when I visit New Look Maternity, they seem to refresh their site and product collection constantly. From the very basics to the chic and glamorous, the selection is impressive.
Here are some of my faves, do you see anything you like?
